Oliver's First Night at Home

Here's the little man in his bassinet for the first time. Since he slept in the NICU while at the hospital, we had no idea how much noise he makes. Between the squeaks and gasps and various other noises, we didn't get much sleep. Of course I probably checked to make sure he was breathing way to many times, but what are you going to do?

Leaving the NICU

Sunday afternoon Oliver was released from the NICU and was finally able to join us in Lindsey's room.

Nana with O

With Oliver spending most of his first three days in the NICU, where you had to "scrub in" on every visit, he wasn't able to have many visitors. Nana (Lindsey's mom) finally was able to hold the little guy.

Meme and Poppy with Oliver

Meme and Poppy were also finally able to hold the little man.

Jen the NICU Nurse

Jen was Ollies first nurse in the NICU. She was hoping not to see Ollie on Sunday because that meant he had a longer stay in the NICU than originally hoped. Jen and all of the other NICU nurses were great.

Dressed and ready to roll

Oliver was discharged Sunday afternoon. Happy family ready to go.

Jenny the NICU nurse

First NICU nurse was Jen...last nurse was Jenny. Jenny got the doc to allow Ollie to get out of the NICU early, which was nice. Again all of the NICU nurses were fabulous.
